New Pro game review between Shi Yue 9p and Mi Yuting 9p.
This review focuses on evaluating joseki and analyzing crosscuts in middle game fighting. An excellent game between two top Chinese professional players. In addition I've finally worked out the video issues that were making the previous videos a little fuzzy and low resolution. This one looks much crisper and is available in 720p on YouTube. If you have any suggestions or feedback please leave a comment. Thank you for watching!

Shusaku Kifu #13 - Game review from 1842 game.
Another game review! This one is interesting because of White's use of a micro-chinese style framework in the opening and Black's masterful use of the aji lingering in some dead stones after white kills a corner group. Shusaku plays black against a 5 dan and takes two stones handicap.

Shusaku Game review from 1839 when he was still a child, though ranked 3 dan already.
New game review focusing on frustrating your opponents intention and fighting for sente. I hope you enjoy!
I've just started making videos so please feel free to leave feedback!

New Game Review! Korean Sensation storms the Myeongin Championship!
Lee Donghoon (3p) has come out of nowhere to challenge for the Myeongin title! While only a one dan pro last year he has managed to win two games in a row against Lee Sedol to win the right to play in the championship games. Winning two games off of Lee Sedol is no small feat but this new pro has also won important games against other high ranking pros.
Here we see a game between Kang Dongyun and Lee Donghoon. Both players use relatively unorthodox joseki in the beginning of the game, which is the focus of this commentary.

Another video! An analysis of a tricky ko that arises in Game 3 of the Lee Sedol vs Gu Li Jubango
In this video I focus on a ko that comes up in the lower right. There is a full game commentary if you'd like to read something that delves into more of the fighting in the game at Go Game Guru.
Mostly just trying different things out with video settings and recording software so far. Any feedback is definitely welcome.

I've made a video about Ko threats and what differentiates a good ko threat from a bad one. Please give me some feedback because this is my first video ever!

Its Been a Long Time
Greetings everyone! Sorry my other site went down, I'm in my last year at the University and didn't have the time nor funds to keep it up.
In good news: I made it! I'm ranked 2d in the US and 1d in Europe. It took 13 years of playing but it happened. I have, unfortunately, not been playing too much recently but I will be done with school by summer and hope to play a lot more. A big thanks to Club de Go Nam Ban in Madrid, Spain. Without playing with the strong players there for a time I would never have learned so much so fast.
If you follow Go news much at all you know that Lee Changho and Gu Li are playing a jubango (10 game series) right now. While those games are far too complex to go into in their entirety there are some very interesting moments in all three of the games played so far. I'll be going over some of those in the upcoming weeks.
Ciao!
